The Little Paintbrush is an art studio for kids that provides a place for students to explore the world of art through meaningful hands-on arts activities. In our after school program we incorporate art history into their drawings, paintings, canvas painting, sculpture and mixedmedia. Students will complete at leist three projects in a semester and will be able to use a variety of art materials such as paints, oil pastels, paper, glue, found objects and a whole host of collage materials. |

We will begin our 2010-2011 after school art classes on Tuesday, August 31st & Wednesday, September 1st
Our after schoolers meet once a week for one full hour. Our students may work on one piece of art for several weeks. We do not complete a project a week. During the semester we will complete a canvas painting, canvas boards simple sculpture and several other projects. Because we build on each project, and each project may take several weeks, we ask that you commit to a semester at a time. A semester consists of September thru December and or January thru the end of the school year. |

FALL semester is September - December
FALL & SPRING semester is September - May
SPRING semester is January - May
Registration & supply fees for after school are $50 for the Fall semester and $60 for the Spring semester. If you are signing up for both fall & spring you only need to pay for the fall now and spring fees will be due in December. Those students signed up for both Fall and Spring will get $10 off the Spring supply fee. Each class is $15 per class per child and the monthly fees are due on the first class of each month. The supply and registration fees covers all the art supplies that your child will need for the entire semester and is NON-Refundable.

Tuition is $15 per session and is paid monthly. The fee depends on how many Tuesdays or Wednesdays fall in each month. We use the same basic
holiday schedule as the public schools and are usually closed when they are closed. Tuition is not charged on these days. If your child misses class for any reason, you must still pay the full amount for the month. This monthly fee is holding a space for your child. In most cases we allow your child to make up a missed class on another already scheduled day. You will get a monthly tuition payment schedule on the first day of class.
We do understand that there may be some days that your child is sick, has a doctors appointment, a death in the family or some unforeseen circumstance may come up and your child will have to miss art class. Please let us know so we can schedule a make-up time to get your child caught up. Make-up times will be during another already scheduled after school class. |
