New Orleans Cityscape
In this workshop we will paint and collage on a
16x20
canvas. We will be inspired by artist James
Michalopoulos and his awesome style of painting
New
Orleans Cityscapes.
Michalopoulos has a way of painting the familiar
with
colors that dance in and out of the canvas. He
seems to
push and pull the dimensions of the pigment in
the same
way that people move and breath.
****June 9-12 2:00-4:00 Ages 6-11 years old
Just Like Georgia
In this workshop we will also be painting on
16x20
canvas. Our inspiration for this workshop will be
Georgia O'Keeffe and her close up paintings of
bright
and vivid flowers. The flower of choice this
summer is
the many styles,shapes and colors of the
Daylilies.
Pick the color of your flower and lets get
started!!!
